「Long Live Rock 'N' Roll」（Rainbow）は、1978年4月リリースのアルバム『Long Live Rock ’N’ Roll』に収録され、1979年にはシングルとしてリリースされた、“ロックの魂を讃えるアンセム”として語り継がれる楽曲です。ロニー・ジェイムス・ディオ在籍期の最後の作品であり、リッチー・ブラックモア、ディオ、コージー・パウエルという“黄金トリオ”が生んだハードロックの金字塔です。
この曲は一貫して、「ロックは永遠だ」「ロックを広めろ」「ロックは魂の叫びだ」というテーマを掲げ、ディオの力強い歌声とともに“ロックの精神”をストレートに表現しています。
